Nyko has officially introduced the Sound Stage speaker system for Apple’s iPod nano, first shown (and photographed) at CES in January. The compact unit features stereo sound with high and mid range speakers, an acrylic and brushed aluminum exterior, a 9-button remote, a pass through dock connector, and a headphone jack and line in. “Get a big sound out of your small iPod nano without taking up a lot of space,” says Nyko. “The Sound Stage for iPod nano combines crisp stereo sound, amplified bass and the charging/transfer features of a docking station. Stereo Speakers with Maxx Base Boost provide quite an audio punch while listening to your favorite tunes.” [via Gizmodo]

Chris asked: “why is the nano showing a video?”
How do you know that it’s a video and not a picture? Nanos can show pictures.

I’m glad to see this unit has “Maxx Base Boost”. This is a small unit, so the base needs to be boosted as much as it can for convenience.
(insert eyeroll here) Spell check, without thought, is NOT a wonderful thing.
