How is this possible? Will this battery last as long as the apple battery, and why isnt it available for 3 and 4th gen iPods?

does anyone use their replacement for the 3d gen? Is it worth upgrading to it even if my old batter works just for the extra time, how much extra time does it really offer (says 30%).

actually it says it provides up to 70% more capacity. so would that translate to 13.6 hours (8hours X 1.7)? i want to see i test, as well as a test of the transmitter.

The 70% figure is for 1st and 2nd Gen iPods, (using the 2100mAh), the 3rd Gen battery replacement gives 30% increase over the original.

Come on ipodlounge, do some tests, do some tests, do some tests ... get the message?

The original iPods could get 10 hours of life out of their battery so 70% would therefore equate to approximately 17 hours.

I also would be interested in any reviews or tests of both the battery and the RoadTrip.
