PayPal launches holiday iTunes promo
PayPal is offering free songs from the iTunes Music Store when you buy an iTunes gift certificate using the online payment service. You’ll receive 10 free song downloads when you use PayPal to buy a $20 iTunes gift certificate, and 25 free songs when you use PayPal to purchase a $50 gift certificate. “This holiday season, give the gift of music with gift certificates from iTunes,” says PayPal. “For a limited time, you’ll also get free songs for yourself when you pay with PayPal.” [via Infinite Loop]

If you purchase a lot from the store, BUY YOURSELF gift vouchers. Then you’ll get free tracks too, and you would have spent $20/$50 anyways.

Worked without issue for me, but it does change your preferred payment method to Paypal - you can just change it back, but at least it did change for me.

So does this mean iTMS has resolved the problem with using PayPal? It’s hasn’t been working since before Thanksgiving.

I just tried this, and it said 0 songs will be credited to your account. Has anyone else done this?

Yeah, this is an oddity, but if you look at your iTunes account you’ll see that the proper number of songs have been added.

The link from the PayPal page doesn not work for me. I’ve tried it several times over the past 3 days and nothing. Now what? I’m using IE too.
