The NOVA shows are actually selling for $7.99 each, which is a price I haven’t seen before for a video on iTunes. (There are a few non-movie videos, including the Conan O’Brien 10th Anniversary TV show, that sell for $9.99.)
NOVA is a great show, but I see no reason for the higher pricing. As a “public” broadcast channel that already receives a portion of our tax dollars, shouldn’t the episodes be CHEAPER? (They’re not even losing ad revenue!)
Finally, there is no discount if you buy the entire season, which costs $39.95. (5 episodes * $7.99 each = $39.95)
