Well ya he is a hypocrit. But for good reason. He is pointing out problems to him about Itunes
itunes is the best out there. But i think it can become better.

He claims that the iPod cannot be used to transfer music from one computer to another… well, that’s just false:
1. You can simply copy the file over to the iPod like a regular file. Though the iPod won’t play it, it’ll be there, and you can copy it off to another computer with ease.
2. Apple’s protection scheme on the iPod is really just a deterrent, and though inconvinient, it can be easly circumvented. There is plenty of software out there that lets you get music off your iPod, and if you don’t want that, you can always use shell and copy it all over. I think that in older versions of OS X, you can simply point the finder to /Volumes/<name of ipod>/iPod_Control/Music/ and you can directly access it from there, but I don’t know if Panther lets you do that anymore.

I read this article earlier and unfortunately you can’t comment there or e-mail the author directly. Its pretty obious this guys is grasping at straws for things to complain about. I mean, I know that (as with all software) there is room for improvement but, seriously.
“[...] the three-column music library browser has started to grow on me, I still think it’s unforgivable that it doesn’t let you collapse songs into albums and albums into artists.” Umm… click “Library” to view your library, then click “Browse” to sort by genre, artist, or album.
Maybe that was too much research.

This is why pc people don’t like macs. Because they are too STOOPID to figure out a good design. If its not convoluted and command line oriented, they just give up.
I remember reading about a teenager who stole the Adobe suite of software from a Mac at ??Target, by hooking up his ipod and putting all the files on there. If you can steal photoshop, I’m just going to ASSUME you can transfer individual .mp3 files.
If you click the links in the article, it takes you to another, even more inept PC luver (he couldn’t figure out how to turn it on, LOL!!). Interesting, he too calls it ITunes and IPod.
