USAToday published the ‘16th Annual Ad Meter’ ranking yesterday’s SuperBowl commercials. The Pepsi+iTunes giveaway ad is near the bottom of the list with a 5.90 out of 10.

Considering how unfunny and uncreative most of the ads were that got high scores, I’d take this as a compliment.

Not saying I liked the ad, just that most of the ads were pretty terrible.

I’m amazed that the Pepsi/iTunes ad preceded the IBM add for Linux, which I thought was brilliant.  I also loved the shards of glass.

Looking at the list, two things came to mind.  1) Budweiser spent a ton of cash and 2) They spent it wisely!
