Angel’s Landing scares the bejesus outta me each time I go.
That second peak, after the spot most people stop and think “we’re here!” and then realize they aren’t and turn around, is an insane ascent for tourists. I cannot believe all the small children that parents let climb up to the top. If a storm comes in… good luck small child.
Does “on the trail to” mean you did not make it to the top?
cheers!

I had that exact experience! We thought we’d made it, we were shouting woo hoos and then people around us were shaking their heads, pointing upward, and laughing. It took about a 1/2 hour of watching others go up safely, but we went for it and yes… we made it to the top! incredible.
