Nice shots, but it looks like you have a light blue and royal blue nano 4th gen. Not a purple one..? Am I seeing things?

Whay are we calling it iPod 2G? Is it because the software is 2.0? Or is it because it’s the 2nd launch since we started to call it “Classic.”
2G tag is confusing. We are supposed to be on the 7th generation now.
The word “classic” in itself already connotes “old,” and other negative things. We hope Apple doesnt put this previous flagship down so much. There’s already much comment on how “this update is not included in the classic…” are all these intentional so the iPod Touch would increase its sales?
No gratitude at all to this iconic model which brings so much memory. No gratitude when it comes to business, aint it?

I’m not sure what gratitude you want for the classic. Do you want gratitude for the G3 iMac too? I think Apple sees the writing on the wall - flash capacities are increasing so much that in a year, you’ll probably have a 120G flash based iPod Nano. There’ll be no more reason to buy the classic model.
To answer the first poster, I think the photo is a result of a poor white balance setting on the camera. Notice the orange one looks red. The red iPod is only available at Apple, so it wouldn’t be included in the picture.

Would anyone else be in favor of iLounge combining ALL the “Photos of…” stories from the past couple of days? I know this opinion might not be shared but it seems somewhat redundant.
