PodStyle aluminum iPod stand debuts

PodStyle is a new anodized aluminum display/frame for third- and fourth-generation iPods (20GB, 40GB or 60GB). Available in red, blue, silver or black, the $29 stand features access to all ports and buttons, allowing you to charge and use your iPod while mounted in PodStyle. “The beautiful styling and classic design of the PodStyle complements any desktop, counter, or existing stereo setup. Choose from four stylish colors to complement your existing rooms décor. Made of strong aluminum with a secure pocket lined with padding to avoid scratches—PodStyle positions the iPod at a perfect height and angle for optimal screen visibility.”

Now these fit the Apple styling. Almost like a picture frame, and imaging an iPod Photo scrolling through pictures in that. Good work.

yeah, its a copy, but the styling isn’t patentable… only the features are… if it wasn’t protected by a patent or the equivilant, than I’d say your S.O.L. For what its worth, I like the this one better. I don’t care for the rivets in the swiss ones.

WOW, it seems like it’s an upgrade from PodBoard, making refined changes to the leg and iPod support. There should be a neon light or some light support around the cutout.
Does anyone know if the metal body interupts signal transfers from the iTrip? Metal is known to shield signals!
