Powermat has launched its new line of wireless chargers, including a charging solution for users of the iPod and iPhone. The Powermat charging system consists of a charging mat—available in Home & Office or Portable models—that use a mix of magnetic induction and proprietary technology to charge up to three devices at once. Options for iPod and iPhone owners include protective cases with integrated charging electronics for the iPhone 3G, 3GS, and iPod touch, or a Powermat-ready wireless charging Dock for other iPod and iPhone models. Available now, Powermat’s Home & Office and Portable chargers sell for $100 each; the iPhone and iPod touch cases, as well as the wireless charging dock, sell for $40 each.
