XtremeMac has updated their website with information and photos about its new Deluxe iPod case for 3G iPods. The case has a patent pending design feature where the iPod is held in place without anything in the front covering the face of iPod. It also features a large access hole for the headphone/remote ports, and the front flap with Velcro closure can be opened without having to unplug the cable. The Deluxe case comes in Black Leather or Camel Tweed and is available for pre-order at $29.95 (includes belt clip). We asked XtremeMac when the case would ship and the reply was, “Most likely in 2 weeks, but I should know an exact date by tomorrow.” We’ll post an update if and when the ship date is confirmed.

I wonder how easy it is to remove the iPod from the case every day you want to put it in the dock.

Not so fast and take your time ordering… the 3G iPod car charger was promised [in writing] for July 15th—that delivery date came and went. Now it’s “promised” for the end of August [again, in writing].
Soooo, on a positive note, their products certainly look good… in the two dimensional reality XtremeMac lives in!

hey guys - take a look at those pics - that case looks cheap as hell - i the holes for the ports are oversized - the stitching isnt refined - then again ur only paying 30 bucks for some cheap leather.
take care

I’m a bit concerned about quality too. But it’s a step in the right direction. I’m still looking for the original design in fine leather.
