Pyrim Technologies releases Rock Docks

Pyrim Technologies, Inc. has released the the Rock Docks line of “stone” desktop organizers for the Apple iPod. The Rock Docks are available in three configurations; Rock Dock - CD Holder, Rock Dock - Picture Frame and Rock Dock - Dual Cavity, and come in five faux stone finishes; Granite, Red Granite, Quartz, Sandstone and Limestone. Prices for the Rock Docks range from $69.99 to $79.99.

Why not use the Apple dock? That’s what I do, charges the battery, has line out, and looks MUCH better than this $70 faux rock.

Well…. it definitely got you talking. Wish the dialog was a little more constructive… you know, something that I could use to improve the product. Perhaps some bash for the fun of it, but if you’d bash and then make a “useful” recommendation… I can act on that and maybe come up with something that you guys would actually like and find useful… after all isn’t that what it’s all about?

Damn, you guys are harsh.
To the guy who wants an Airport Extreme compatible dock is just plain ridiculous since no such thing exists.
Personally, it’s not something I’d have on my desk, only because I’m into that ultra-modern look. This would be great for the older folk, and those who have money to spare.
Another reason I would be iffy about this product is because the iPod gets scratched easily. Unless the slot that the iPod fits into is lined with fabric, I could see this easily scratching the iPod.

THE ROCKDOCK IS MADE OF CORIAN SO I DON’T THINK IT WILL SCRATCH THE IPOD.
FOLKS THAT WANT SOMETHING NICE TO SIT THEIR IPOD IN WHILE LISTENING TO THEIR MUSIC…THEY WILL BUY THIS. YOU GUYS SOUND SO UNEDUCATED…I AGREE YOU ALL ARE HARSH !!! AT LEAST THIS COMPANY IS TRYING TO LIVE THE AMERICAN DREAM AND DEVELOP A PRODUCT. I GIVE THEM A LOT OF CREDIT FOR AT LEAST TRYING.
