Made from high-polymer silicone, Portectorz have a custom-molded design to keep the ports of products such as iPods, PowerBooks and iBooks clean and protected from foreign objects. Portectorz are Uni-die molded and lightly frosted for a “smooth and elegant appearance that beautifully complements your digital device’s style.” The Portectorz for 3G/4G iPods and iPod minis sell for $5.95. The AirPort Express Portectorz is priced the same.

5.95 is a ripoff. These things are useful and there is a need for them as Apple does not package them with the product anymore, but the price is too much. 5.95 for a 5 pack would be more reasonable.

Yeah ripoff, 5 bucks for a piece of plastic. It’s a shame they actually made it, it more shameful that they are selling it. They should pack this in with the podsleeze.

They don’t come with 4G? Sad… nevertheless, I never used mine, it would be in the way all the time. Does one at least get say… ten of them for the $6?
