With over 900 words and phrases per language at your fingertips, getting off the beaten path and mixing with the locals just became a whole lot easier.”

That’s a pretty cool ideda, but how much room does it take up? I can see 4 languages taking up some space on your iPod. Still, $50 is a good deal. I’d buy it if I was going somewhere out of the country.

The specs say: “Up to 80 MB of free space per language on your iPod.”
I wonder how it compares to talkingpanda.

“Rambler”...for someone as old and with as much baggage as me, it’s kind of an unfortunate choice of branding (and I’m not talking about a kind of house, either). Understandable WHY the phrase was chosen given its dictionary definition, but obviously not made by someone who remembers the klutzy old car with the same moniker.
