RealNetworks has launched the RealOne RHAPSODY music service charging subscribers 79¢ to burn individual tracks.

79¢ a song doesn’t sound so great when you also have to pay a $9.95/month subscription fee. I’ll stick with iTunes, thanks.

what if i only want one song? $10.74 seems pretty steep… 10 songs fo 17.85? it costs less to buy an album at the high priced virgin megastore! then there is the added inconvienence of burning them to a cd before i can rip them to itunes. This service seems doomed to failure.
