Refurbished iPod 20GB for $299

Dealmac: The factory-refurbished iPod 20GB MP3 player, with dock and carrying case, again costs $299 at The Apple Store. That’s still the lowest price we’ve seen for a refurbished unit with a one-year Apple warranty. Shipping is free, although sales tax is added where applicable.

I think you are a little confused.

17” Refurbished Flat Panel iMac is $1499. I trust you are aware that this is a full system not just the monitor? (check out iMac’s at

Regarding just Flat panel monitors, the comperable DELL to the 23” apple flat panel cinema display ($1699) is reg $1599, on sale for $1499.

Not that much different. Sure the apple is more, but take a trip to your local apple store and take a peek at one of those things.

Sold out?  Maybe they just added more, cuz I just ordered one and got a confirmation.

It will be tough to wait, I want it now, but a C-note is too much for me to spare for a few more days with the iPod.  I’m a finance guy, so I’m tight.  Went with the free shipping, too, for a longer wait…

I see them in the discount rack as well. They must have more.. ( shame I just got my 20 GB at normal price. )

mine finally arrived - the chrome had a scuff mark on it and the dock was scratched to hell but brand new headphones, remote, dock port plugs. I’ve yet to see how the battery holds up. Has anyone else ordered one?

interesting - I’m certainly not expecting mine to be pristine, but I’m hoping not to have to use “scratched to hell” to describe any of the parts…  But, if anything, I guess the dock is the best place for the scratches to be.

I had understood that Apple’s refurbs got new batteries.  I hope that’s the case, or that mine dies before the warranty’s up…

I think they’re gone - checked the site just now and no pods listed, just the Applecare plan.

Still some deals on new unopened 30’s & 10gb’s.

I got lucky with mine, glad I happened to check the site!

my battery arrived 100% uncharged - does that mean it’s new or drained? Hmmm… We’ll see
