I hope the jurys decision isn’t affected by user votes.

they should not care of the votes in my opinion… not just because of the vote manipulating issue…

picking the picture with the highest rating might be good to prevent discussions with people complaining why their picture with their mom holding her ipod didn’t win.
But I think the bother to make a real good picture with a nice concept and a good composition has to be included to the final descission.

i agree with your idea. but i dont think the jury will pay any attention to the votes anyways.

I hope the judges also factor in originality / date of submission. Its not quite fair to copy somebody else’s original concept, one that they had been laboring over for a long time. Heck, if i wanted to, i could copy the best concepts tonight and make them better, but that just wouldnt be fair.

the way i look at it is, if you have a 2,000 dollar car, and you put 4,000 worth of rims and tires on it, don’t you think that’s a little over kill, don’t you think.
