Looks nice, but I don’t have an ipon mini. I wonder how hot a regular ipod would run in something like that.

Thanks, mongooos150, for posting pics.  Their site doesn’t allow access without accepting cookies, something that, as a web designer and businessman, I can never undertand....

The case does look slick, but doesn’t appear to allow access to the touch wheel, unless I’m not seeing something…

Maybe ‘function buttons’ means the ones on top, cause I’m not seeing an outlet for the ones on the front.

The whole purpose of the iPod Mini is to show it off, basically ‘cause the colors… It’s alum surface is far more resistent than the any of the iPods… WHY will you use something that it’s not friendly regarding controls and completely hide your “cool” iPod Mini?

This case would be usefull if you were tossing it in your schoolbag.  As “cool” as the iPod mini is, it is still an electronic device not made to take all kinds of impact.

It is a nice case, but there really is no “access” to all the controls.  All of the controls are on the front, and that whole front is covered up.  It is still a nice looking case though.

Why not leave the iPod mini in the original box?  Safe and sound in there.

Why can’t they make a case similar to this for the 3G iPod?  I want a case where you can at least see what’s on the screen that protects it well.  You can’t do that with the iPod Armor.  You have to open the sucker up, which can be a pain.

Looks like one of those big metal face protectors people use when working with fire/explosives. But...as for “P” ‘s comment...people use these when doing heavy sports with there iPods.

I actually like the idea of a hard case for the mini. But I would want one that is completely closed on the front and has openings just on the top and bottom for play through. I would use such a case so that I could just drop my mini in my bag when I’m either not listening to it, or when I’m listening but not fiddling with it. If I’m sitting down where I could access the clickwheel and screen, I could open it up. It should, of course, open from the side rather than the top so as not to get in the way of ports. One final problem I have with the case pictured is the enormous logo. Doesn’t fit the iPod aesthetic at all.

I like the post about protecting the alluminum case with an alluminum case with a titanium case… my thoughts exactly.  Perhaps they should make an alluminum case to protect the iPods that dont have one already???  I like Rhino cases for Ipaq etc… I wish they would make one for my 3G iPod.
