I read the comments here and order a best skins ever cover for the ipod and put it on before placing it in the case - works a treat.
You only need to put on the front piece though otherwise its impossible to get the ipod in or out!
Looks great - great case.

I actually have this case and there is no “trash-talk” here. The case is poorly designed and Saunders admitted as much to me over the phone. They explained they were not happy with the fabricating process for this model and in fact the case has scratched my brand new iPod in two places, not to mention the multitude of vertical scratches on the interior of the acrylic from the top of the circular cut-out to the top edge of the case.
The only saving grace here is Saunders/Rhinoskin has agreed to send me a replacement from a “new batch” that is due tomorrow (03/03/2006) along with a return label to send the defective one back. I commend Saunders for standing behind their product.
I’ll post back to follow-up on whether or not their new “process” yields better quality. As it stands now, I would avoid these cases. Again, not only does it scratch easily, it also may scratch your iPod’s surface as you slide it in the case.
