It should be hitting retail very soon now. I haven’t been in an Apple Store in the past week but they’re pretty good about stocking the latest editions. In some cases, they pull the old edition if they think there’s enough new stuff that their customers will be unhappy with a book that’s out of date.
Amazon has been typically slow about updating its links. The fourth edition is on there but it’s not easy to find. You can use this link:

Chris, I am curious, does your book address the possibility of upgrading the hard drive of a 3G Ipod as opposed to upgrading an old ipod with a new drive?
Like upgrading a 15 GB 3G model with a 20 GB drive?
