My eyes are burning… When my Mini finally comes in I definitely won’t be putting it in this.

Out of all the cases for the Mini I’ve seen so far this looks to be one of the nicest. In black, of course. None of this freaky blue crap.

Magnetic? Anyone else think putting magnets near an iPod is a bad idea?

You are correct… magnets and hard drives don’t mix well. It probably won’t be strong enough to erase your hard drive but why risk it?

Weak magnets probably won’t damage the Mini.
One thing that definitely *will* damage the Mini is to bring it to above around 12,000 feet (4 Km). Of course, this limit is reduced near the equator.
The reason is that the specially reduced drive that the Mini uses is not vacuum-sealed, as with most other drives, but floats on a cushion of air exchanged with the atmosphere.
Too little air and the drive platter will crash into the heads and melt.
Enjoy.

does this have a spot to put the ear phones… is there a pocket in the cover to place them?
