Sharper Image offers iPulse Bear
Gearing up for the holiday shopping season, Sharper Image is offering an iPod-compatible stuffed bear with built-in speaker. The iPulse Bear “hugs your music player in a pouch in his belly,” while a hidden cable connects to the headphone jack of any iPod or other MP3 player. The $40 bear also has glowing eyes and LED lights that pulse to the music’s rhythm, frequency and volume. The iPulse Bear, available in white or brown, runs on four C batteries or an optional AC adapter ($10).

Can we all just pull the plug on this one right now? Please?
Now if this thing behaved like a grizzly version of Chucky…THAT would be ‘bloody’ cool.

that’s very, very scary. Reminds me of the killer robot Bobo that Professor Frink built for Mr. Burns. (shudder)

I am purchasing several so that I can have a chorus of cute cuddly little bears playing music in harmony—not!
I’m with “flatline response” on this one.

well, the target audience for the bear are people who probably don’t research stuff on ilounge!
and yeah, it should’ve been a kangaroo! or a oppossum. that’s a marsupial too, right?
