I think this company has the objective of being on iPodLounge’s front page all of the time.
This is so much cheaper than paying for advertising. They are getting quite a nice deal here.

regardless of their objectives, thats a pretty good deal for those phones…

Who cares if it is advertising or not. It’s Shure headphone we are talking about and it is priced around the same range as the Apple’s own white headphones.

Not exactly true. I went to the website and they don’t have Shure E2c headphones. When you attempt to buy them you get linked to the Shure E2 product instead which tells you “its the same thing”. So actually the deal is on Shure E2 phones and NOT the Shure E2c phones!

Interested in purchasing these headphones but only if they are E2C; I wish the site offered that or the more info link at top took it to it.

They are the same exact thing. The only difference is that they are marketed directly to consumers(E2c’s).

Curious to say, this page, http://www.earphonesolutions.com/recoofshinea.html, from the EarphoneSolutions says that the c suffix is just a marketing gimmick from Shure. The deal is pretty much the same anyway. I already got one for my iPod mini.

the link no longer works.
By the way I think its lame to say, “its the same thing”
isnt there a color diffrence between the E2c and the E2?
Thats diffrence enough.

Ouch, don’t click directly on the link. I did try to do it. Copy and paste it to the address bar on your browser.

THERE IS NO COLOR DIFFERENCE. THEY ARE THE SAME EXACT THING.
The E3C’s and the E3’s have a color difference.
When they say that the E2’s and the E2C’s are the same, they are completely telling the truth.
By the way, I have a pair, and they are great. Worth every penny.
You’ve actually always been able to get these earphones from microphone solutions for that same price. I got mine shipped for $71. You just had to find it advertised at that price, and they would match it for you. It’s cool that they are now advertising it openly for a great price though.

No, they’re not always the same price. This is a few bucks less than usual.
And the only difference between the e2 and the e2c is some copy on the packaging, because the e2c is aimed at consumers and the e2 is aimed at musicians. The products are positively identical, as are e5 and e5c. The only one with any differences is e3 and e3c, where e3 has a grey casing and e3c has a white casing (but still a black cord so it’s kinda pointless)
And if you poke around on shure.com, it’s all there in writing.

I second that. E2c IS THE SAME as E2. Call Shure at 800-516-2525 and ask yourself…
