Slappa HardBody iPod case announced

picTotal Impact Industrial has announced the Slappa HardBody case for 3G iPods. Available for pre-order now, the case features an xEVA molded HardBody shell, NeoGrip pod sling player stabilizer, etched alloy clasp, heavy duty steel belt clip, top and bottom port access, and a Flexi-pane clear front window that covers the screen and scroll wheel. The Slappa HardBody iPod case is priced at US$29.99.

It looks as if they designed it withou an iPod as a mold. The top seems to cover a bit of the screen and the middle covers a little bt of the buttons. I’d go with the Showase for $10 more.

I was about to say the same thing.

I wish contour made the iSee for the 3rd gen. I like the showcase and am considering it, but I like the iSee version better, but no love for theh 3rd gen since we have the showcase…

Oh well.

I’ve seen the iSee, and it’s a great idea, but it sucks that they don’t make it for 3G. Many people haven’t upgraded to the 4G yet, and some aren’t planning on it for a while. So it would be great if people wouldn’t just stop making stuff for the 3G and focus on the newer versions.

Back to this Slappa case. It’s a bit like the Showcase, but it’s poorly made. I would buy it if the shape of it was better, you know what I mean?
