Small Dog Offers iPod Trade-in Program
iLounger Mark H. informed us about Small Dog Electronics offering a trade-in program for old iPods. Purchase your new iPod online or by phone, request an RMA number for your old iPod and ship it to Small Dog for credit toward your new iPod purchase. Small Dog lists the current trade-in values for the week of May 5 at; 5GB iPods - $100, 10GB iPods - $150 and 20GB iPods - $225. Visit the website for specific details to trade-in your iPod.

yeah so they can turn around and sell on ebay for a profit….....i think not! save yourself the middle man and sell it yourself.

Have you looked at used iPod prices on eBay since the new models came out? At the moment, you’d be lucky to pull $225 for a 20g, it seems. Smalldog, OTOH, has the opportunity to sell them as a tested reliable apple merchant, so they can demand higher “used” prices than any joe schmoe on eBay.
