Soundmatters Announces foxLO Palm-Sized Subwoofer

Ahead of the 2012 International CES, Soundmatters has announced its newest product: foxLO. Billed as the world’s first palm-sized, hi-fi subwoofer, it is designed primarily to add a significant level of bass to Bluetooth speakers such as the company’s foxL v2 series, and Jawbone’s Jambox, both of which use similar audio hardware.

Users can connect directly to the unit from a iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, Mac, or PC, and it has a full pass-through to connect to a speaker system. The subwoofer offers 25 watts of amplification, and also has a USB charging port. It will sell for $149 when it’s available in Spring 2012.
