Speck Products has introduced its latest iPod toy, the iKitty. Shaped like a cat, the iKitty offers functionality as both a stand and a case for the iPod and iPod mini. Features of the iKitty include access to the iPod’s top ports, a tail that functions as a headphone cord organizer, as well as a screen protector and a dockable design. The iKitty is available now; both the full-size and mini models of iKitty sell for $34.95.

I really hope it ends here. With the iGuy and now the iKitty, what more could we possibly need?

They should call it the “iKitsch”. Personally, I have a friend who just got an iPod who would love this…she loves cats.

This is the greatest line of products ever. Especially after the movie iPod is finally out, what better way to make small presentations?

If they sell, then I would gather that it isn’t such a stupid idea after all.

At least the iGuy and iKitty have functional value. It’s not like it’s a lego figure whose only selling point is the fact that it’s holding a little lego iPod. These are goofy cases that are based around the iPod itself, not just the “cult of iPod” (though there’s a healthy dose of that here too). There are much more stupid accessories out there, IMO.
