Spotify adds lock screen cover art, Facebook sharing controls

Spotify has released an update for its iPhone and iPod touch application adding support for displaying cover art and song information on the iOS 5 lock screen and providing users with more control over sharing on Facebook. Users can now disable Facebook posting entirely from within the application’s settings or toggle on an “Incognito mode” that temporarily disables Facebook sharing for the current session only, switching it back on automatically for the next session. With the latest update, Spotify now requires iOS 4.0 or later and is available from the App Store as a free download.
