Mac community site Spymac is now offering a limited edition aluminum iPod stand. “Designed and crafted in Germany, this iPod stand proudly displays all models of the world’s most renowned digital music player. Slanted design allows for easy removal and showcasing. Constructed from beautiful high quality aluminum and featuring rubber feet to prevent sliding and furniture damage. FYI, doesn’t seem to be a dock, just a stand.

Looks nice, even if it is pretty much completely useless.
Definitely just a stand and not a dock, although it looks like you could possibly plug the standard cable into the iPod while it is sitting in it, but that would ruin the whole look (since the cable would have to run to the side of it)

Yeah, its a nice lookin’ stand, but 50 bucks is a bit much. And woudn’t that aluminum surface scratch the back of the ipod? Ditto on the icon, thats nasty lookin’. You can’t have nasty looks on a stand that is for “looks only.”
