Why does Starbucks have to dip their hands into everything? They should pay more attention to coffee, than to music. Their music collection is nothing special either. Most to all of the stuff has already surfaced through other labels when it came out (20 years) ago. So they are not re-inventing the wheel, just fixing up the camoflage it’s packaged in. Look at the movie, Akelaa & The Bee. Cheezy, almost another Gili. They should serioulsy consider focusing on coffee & lay off the music. All they have is gay pop crap. No cool stuff like moe., Phish, Umphrey’s McGee, The Disco Biscuits, etc. That would make the collection they carry a little more appealing to more people.

I think Starbucks has good music… at least I like what I hear. If they want to make it easier to get what is playing in their stores, I’m game.

Isn’t what you’re proposing even MORE of that hand dipping?
