Steve Jobs: Free iPhones for Apple employees
At an all-hands meeting called by Steve Jobs and held today on the Apple campus in Cupertino, CA, the company’s CEO told a packed audience that every full-time Apple employee who has been with the company for more than a year will receive a free 8GB iPhone by the end of July. I am very jealous. The only time my company makes company-wide announcements is when they are going to lay off people, and I work for a much MUCH larger and wealthier company.

Apple gave away free computers during the early days. My dad has a few during his days before he left Apple. I wish he would’ve stayed but he’s always welcome to come back
