I think the vPod cases look pretty good and I like that it has a horizontal belt clip. Wish I could see some pictures of the clip. Their web site is not updated with these cases yet.

How many more namby pamby make-up-purse cases do we have to see before someone gets with the program and releases a decent water / drop resistant sports case?

I just returned my InCase leather case (the one for the 5g with the plastic screen protector and hard frosted plastic wheel protector) for this, and I’m very happy with it. The leather is very soft and much higher quality, and as far as I’m concerned, it has the perfect blend of access and protection.
If you are going to spend the money on buying the world’s sharpest 2.5 inch LCD screen, you shouldn’t be looking at it through a cheap plastic window. Also the wheel loses a lot of sensitivity with that wheel protector, rendering many functions like playing games on it impossible.
This case has the right idea, naked access to your iPod’s screen and wheel when open, and 100% coverage when closed.
