Man I was thinking this all alone. Man Apple could do so much now that they offer both Firewire and USB 2.0 connectivity. Since most if not all digital devices have either connection, it would be nice if we were able to record directly to the iPod’s hard drive. People would get it just for this. This could in turn get them to buy other Apple products.

Gimme gimme gimme!
I have been hoping that Apple realizes this for some time now. It seems they are on the right track.
It is also understandable though that they do not want to just add bells and whistles at random. The approach of making it surely but steadily better is a good one.
Your Mac Life had the product manager of the iPod on the show last week and he said that there are many very interesting 3rd pary applets in the making. He would not elaborate but said they were really cool.
It seems the iPod will get better and better in the near future.

What the hell! Don’t you people have any respect for the Newton?! The granddaddy of them all! But what I really want to see is an iPod watch. Or maybe an iPod phaser gun. Or maybe one with legs…
