A reader has submitted a link to a website poking fun at Ashlee Simpson and the release of the U2 Special Edition iPod. Not very happy about the U2 iPods’ design the sites’ owner said, “it looks like the A-Team van,” and has retaliated with the iPod Ashlee Simpson Karaoke Edition.

As the saying goes: “Comedy is not pretty.” This parody site truly proves it.
Evidently, some people have WAY TOO MUCH TIME on their hands…
BTW, black/red wheel iPod…good concept, if I were a Chicago Bulls fan…all the click wheel needs are the seam lines of a basketball. I’m still trying to grasp the U2 tie-in with these two colors…upcoming album art? Bono’s favorite colors?
I won’t badmouth the iPod/U2 alignment (much), since I’ve been a fan of the band from their earliest days, and perhaps Jobs has been as well and if he is so he’s got the right to associate his gear with whomever he wants. But I can see this going too overboard as well…despite the preloading of U2’s latest album, this seems a poor excuse to jack up pricing by $50.
But if Apple ever does a Dead or Hendrix iPod…LIKE SIGN ME UP, MAN!

They jacked up the price by $50, but you get that $50 back when you get the boxed set, lol…

I am a Chicago Bulls fan!!!! Too bad the team has taken a nose dive since the Jordan/Pippen era…
On a side note, I have noticed in a bunch of these strings that there is a unified call for Mr. Jobs to incoporate gapless playback into the iPod firmware…anyone know how this is progressing?

Are the RIAA Guy’s out there and catching this? Naggghhh probably not, there to busy busting little Twelve-Year-Old Girls, who download this CRAP!
If thay were actualy listening they just might find out why there not selling all those CD’s that they’d like to…
No one but a fine percentage goes into this POP CRARP. Why? Becouse those People above Twenty-Five are cynical enough to remember the 80’s and early 90’s!
Back when you had to bust you A$$ to be a Musician, and you could be as ugly as a Dog’s Rear-end, and still sell Abums and Concert Tickets!
Now all you have to do like Ms. Simpson is to pretend to hold a tune long enough to sell a ‘Diet Coke’ to the Masses!
I don’t get the FOX Network here in Germany, but I’d lay my hand in the Fire that she got Her start off of the ‘Who Want’s to Be An American Idiot!’...
Sorry I let my cynicism come out I chalk it up to to much MST3k =) That should have been ‘Idol’ ofcource. (Yeah right!).

Haha… a while back I was watching some MTV music awards or something and Ashlee Simpson was singing at some pre-event concent - it was soo bad I don’t know if she ever hit a note right. Only reason she’s got this far is because of her big sis..

Damn, now that I realize it looks like the A-Team Van, I want one… Stupid U2. The A-Team should get an iPod before U2 anyway…

The black and red is related to the cover art for the upcoming album.

The Complete U2 will be $150. -$50 = $99
For 400+ songs.
Less than 25cents/song.
Darn good deal.

Big Sis isn’t much of a singer either. Sounds more like 2 cats mating. She does have the looks though. Leaving little sis with…. nothing.

Who’s listening to their voices? Brit, Jessica, Christina, Ashley…all pure T&A…no voice talent needed.
