Travis Butler for TidBits has posted a review of the iTrip, SoundFeeder and iRock FM transmitters.

“Is the iTrip perfect? No. I wish the signal was stronger so reception could be clear and consistent across the city. I wish Griffin could have come up with a less cluttered approach to tuning, though I’m not sure what would work better.

Would I recommend the iTrip to others? Yes. If nothing else, the massive improvement in convenience over the other FM transmitters is worth it. The wide-ranging digital tuning - even given the Rube Goldbergian approach - is also welcome.”

I’ve used iTrip. I can’t tell you how it works but I know it does not work well. The signal it produces is very low that it often looses the signal. I also tried the tape adapter and that works a lot better but i didnt’ like the wires sticking out of my system. Now I have the Sound Feeder SF250 which I got from Arkon.com running with Belkin Auto Kit for iPod w/ Dock Connector and I think this is by far the best sound quality I heard. The sound feeder plugs into Belkins 3.5 stereo line out port which also has a dial where you can adjust the sound level so you can get the best sound without any distortion. So if your looking for small then I would recomend the iTrip but if your looking for sound quality then get the Sound Feeder SF250.
