Thunk has introduced its new Appstand accessory for the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS. Appstand is a unique stand for the iPhone that places the device in the center of a mat and frame combination, in effect turning the iPhone into a digital picture frame. Users have full access to all ports and controls while their devices are in the frame; other features include interchangeable Appmats, a spring-loaded stand offering four distinct viewing angles, and a clip for optional cord storage. Thunk’s Appstand for iPhone 3G and 3GS is available for pre-order now and is expected to begin shipping on December 1 for $20.

Sometimes the best ideas are so simple - this seems like one of those. I could see using the Appstand for my desktop speakerphone since it seems like it could be charging at the same time.

This makes perfect sense. I may even remember where I put my iPhone with this handy and useful product…not to mention actually seeing what time it is when my alarm goes off! Thanks Thunk.
