TiVo offers limited edition 20GB iPod

MacMinute reports that digital video recorder maker TiVo is offering a 20GB “Limited Edition Apple iPod” to members of its TiVo Rewards program, which combines points for user referrals and use of a TiVo-branded MasterCard. Collect 20,000 TiVo Rewards points and get the special iPod, which TiVo explains is unique because “the TiVo logo is etched on back!” (Okay, their choice of punctuation may be a little dramatic, but sure, it’ll be a collectors’ item of sorts.)

Not having the Apple logo kind of takes away from the experience. I wouldnt even like the HP logo and im a PC user. It’s like having “Jordans” that say “Payless Shoes” (sorry if the brands i used are local and ur not from the US)

the only way i would want a limited edition ipod was if it had, say, a bright red scrollwheel. That’d be wicked.

I want an ipod with all the logos on it: Apple, HP and TiVo.
Maybe they can fit Walmart and Taco Bell too.

you can get 5000 points for every friend you refer to get tivo…... thats 4 friends getting tivo and u get a free ipod, beats the hell out of the pyramid scams u see all the time

I’d like a tivo dock for my ipod for recording show directly to the ipod hd.
That would be much cooler than the tivo logo on my ipod

Why not offer the ipod with differnt color backlights? is it even possible for us users to change their color?
