Trendy Geek has announced that its Trendy Shields are now available for the fifth-generation iPod and iPod nano. The transparent film sleeves help keep iPods clean and scratch-free. The $13 Trendy Shield kit contains three protectors (6 pieces all together). “Trendy Shields are inexpensive and transparent,” noted the company. “They are made of a thin material that clings to the iPod using high static. The film covers the iPod’s delicate case perfectly. When the shields need replacing, there is no sticky glue or residue to remove—they simply peel off.”

Guys,
Based on research on the ILounge site, I recently purchased the shields from Trendy Geek for the 5G IPOD.
When the product arrived there is a note on the package that you must apply soapy water to the shield to “glue” it to the IPOD and then work bubbles out with a credit card. Next the sheets have a pattern stamped in them, however they do not puch out to fit the IPOD. The sheets simply tear.
What a worthless product. Then the product does not provide any customer service numbers to contact them. What are they hiding from?
Sincerely,
Terry Malone
