Twelve South has debuted its new PlugBug iPad/iPhone Charger + MacBook Plug Attachment. Designed to piggyback onto Apple’s MacBook Power Adapter, the PlugBug features a red body with a single USB port, offering 10 watts of power for the fastest possible charging of an iPad or iPhone, and allows the user to charge both a MacBook and an iPad or iPhone from a single outlet. The PlugBug also functions as a standalone wall charger for iPads, iPhones, and iPods, and is available now for $35.

Cool but way to high of a price point. IMHO

I’ll save the $35 and either use the extra outlet on the wall or one of the two usb ports on the MacBook Air.
$15 I might buy.

Neat idea, far too expensive.

Are these people for real??? This gadget actually takes up MORE space than if you carried the tiny cube USB charger that comes with your iPhone. The only benefit is if you only had one power outlet and you needed to use it for two devices. Otherwise, this think is useless and actually counterproductive.

Anyone else notice it’s an ugly red color? Bit of a “sore thumb” thing going on. Just me?

I love this product, amazing that someone did not think of this sooner. As a matter of fact, I ordered it! Nice to eliminate extension cords, strip cord and eliminate clutter.
