UK leads Europe in iPod sales
“In Europe, the UK is at the forefront of this [iPod] phenomenon. Pascal Cagni, Apple’s European boss, has recently relocated to Britain, which has just overtaken France to become the biggest market in the region.
Cagni said: ‘The UK is our strongest country now, no question. We have been performing superbly with the iPod. The adoption curve is much stronger than in other countries in Europe. The Christmas to come will be immense.’”

i guess thats true… i mean here in belgium.. the ipods only last for about an hour on the shelves be4 they r sold…and the fact taht u have to pre order them doesnt change anything i guess…..

Then surely the British loyalty could be rewarded with a drop in price for iTMS and let us pay a comparative price of say - oooh - 60p for a song!
If we buy more, surely it would be nice to pay the same as everyone else in the world for a song!

By the sounds of things I am glad I got my ipod early. Will apple be able to cope with the Christmas rush? Only time will tell. As it says in the article the main problem they have us supply and demand issues.
