Vaja has introduced its new iVolution case for the iPhone 3G. Made from high quality Argentine leather, the iVolution for iPhone 3G is an open-faced case with a slide-in design, offering open access to all the phone’s ports and controls, coverage for the Home button and front bezel, and a metal Vaja logo in the upper right front corner. Available in a wide range of colors, the Vaja iVolution for iPhone 3G is available now and starts at $85; the company’s site says the handicraft process for the case takes around 45 days.

The top right of the case design really bumms me out. I hope (and pray) Vaja doesn’t carry forward the wrong-headed concept of modifying the case design lines to get a logo in the upper-righthand corner!

Hmmm. 45 days to make a case.
So at about $2 a day, I wonder where in southeast Asia could it be made in…

Those cases are a rip off. 45 days, 85 bucks and to top it off they are ugly as he@$.

Very much agree with Chashulme. I had been waiting for the 3G iVolution, but now am not so sure. The really unfortunate thing is that this same case would have been one of their best without that logo.
