This reminds me of a really nice iPod case Coach used to sell (it was for the older generation iPods).  Close, but still not Coach =(

is it a rugged mp3 player or a rolex wrist watch.

This case doesn’t fit the mini’s style.  sorry.iPod?  Probably.

It looks more like an eyeglass case or wallet than it does an iPod case. Cases for the iPod are necessary for some people because the iPod only comes in white.

However, for the minis, doesn’t covering them up all the way with a thick layer of leather defeat the purpose of having 5 colors and being as small as a business card?

That’s a pretty interesting case…it just looks too bulky for my taste though.  It does look like it provides some decent protection for the mini against some accidental drops though.  Definitely not my style.

That’s pretty bad, but my guess is that Vaja will come out with something similar to the iVod case eventually.

I bought the Vaja iVod (40gb) case in white/grey largely based on iPodlounge’s review.  Although I like it, I’ve found that the plastic screen guard scratches way too easily and that the overall profile of the iPod with case on is 50% larger, something that could be avoided with a plastic slip-on case.

I don’t think it’s too bad. I would buy one. :-)

Wow. Some people are just never satisfied. It’s less about suiting the Mini’s style and more about suiting the user’s style, methinks. If I had a Mini, I’d be desparate to cover it in anything that made it look a little more… adult, and less like it was filled with Skittles. Lastly, the notion that the only reason to cover an iPod is because it is white is absurd, for reasons too obvious to even bother typing.

Here’s some contructive criticism——GOD NO. Really kills the coolness of a mini.

I like it.  Not for everyday use, but for traveling, it’d be noce to have something this durable & nice looking.
But I wonder if the inside portion of the metal snap rubs directly against the back of the mini.  That may cause scratching to the mini.
