Waterfield Designs offers 5G iPod Case

Waterfield designs is now offering its 5G iPod Case. Made with a three-layer construction, the 5G makes use of an Indium nylon outer, a plastic middle layer, and an inside with neoprene and a silky liner. The 5G iPod Case also features access to the dock connector and headphone jack, a soft grip material on the back, and an elastic band to hold earbuds. The case is available in five colors and is available now for $29.00.

The case these guys make are awesome! I’ve been waiting for this one to come out since I got my Waterfield nano case. Great protection, and even better looks!

Great. Another sleeve. Just what the world needs. And their innovation is: an elastic strap. SFBags/Waterfield makes some cool stuff, but this seems just weak, esp. from them.

I don’t know about everyone else, but to me, one of the many things I like about the line of iPods, is their small size. I’m allergic to carrying alot of any kind of bulk around; whether it’s cameras, backpacks, etc.
To stuff an iPod into anything that adds more than a millimetre of dimension to the iPod is anathema.
Two of my iPods have been swathed in a micro-fibre case, made by another company, and they’ve weathered everything I’ve thrown at them, without a scratch.
Some people drop stuff, so the bullet-proof, ironclad cases are for them.
It brings to mind the writing you see on watches “resistant to 500 metres” - well, I don’t think you’re going to dive THAT deep!

Great case. Perfect for tossing the nano into my gym bag. I have other cases from Waterfield and the quality is top-notch.
