Watershed has debuted its new Waterproof Submersible Bag for iPad. The bag features a watertight top seal, a play-through plastic screen cover that allows the iPad to be used underwater, a front flap with button closure, and an included shoulder strap. Watershed has yet to add the Waterproof Submersible Bag for iPad to its website but is currently taking phone orders; the Bag itself is priced at $97.

Seriously? An underwater bag for an iPad? I sat in my hot tub with my iPad placed in a double seal ziplock plastic bag. The gallon size fit my iPad perfectly, and I was able to use the screen with no problems. Oh, yeah, it was raining too. I bought a box of gallon bags, more than a dozen, for about $3.  I was certainly careful, but I had no real worries either. You can test this method first by putting in a handful of kleenix in the bag. If they don’t get wet, your iPad won’t either.
