Have you considered reading the “required files” section of the page? Perhaps… just perhaps, that might be somehow relevent.

So, how’d they get past the legal issues of Google’s Terms of Use?

does it still give you the brief headlines? if it does, why not just use ipodagent.

ok it gives a small 50 word responce to each headline….but nothing against iPod agent…its great but this is jsut for news…ipod agent you have to know about how to type an rss url (which i dont)(otherwise you arelimited to the yahoo suggested sites they offer)
either way its a sweet feature!

Wooo!! It’s good to have this back… for me, it’s real easy to just fire up the comp, connect my ‘Pod, double click GoogleGet, and disconnect. iPod Agent is awesome, but it’s easier with GoogleGet - one, I’m too lazy to add the RSS feeds for Google (do they even have RSS feeds??) and two, I don’t get very much email. so why sync it when I’m in a hurry and just want news for the bus? I’m very happy to have googleget back.

i’m curious as to what dll you guys were having trouble with? if you could email me any info that’d be great.
“So, how’d they get past the legal issues of Google’s Terms of Use?” i decided not to care

cool, works nice.
Give it a go. Definently worthwhile, it gives you something to read on the bus while listening toyou tunes… but, it needs a touch pad and ftp system, wtf were they thinking!?!??! but yeh… nice little prog! :D

well i could implement an option like the one in ipodagent to download the linked stories, although it would deffinitely look messy
there’s no more information on google news itself though
