Windows: iPod-TV 1.0 released

iPod-TV is a Windows application that allows you to put up to a weeks worth of television listings on your iPod. The free software automatically downloads the TV information from the web and allows you to easily upload the data onto your iPod.

Well it’s free, so I shouldn’t criticize. But it’s a shame he didn’t use the Notes feature, IMHO. Still - good idea. :o)

I already have TV schedules on my iPod. I just choose the show I want from the Calendar menu, and then click the flagged day to see time and summary/description.
All updated automatically over the ‘net, thanks to iCal.
I wish it was ALL shows, grouped by network, but having just the shows I want to track is a nice start.

Hi Guys,
I was thinking about using the notes feature but then your restricted to 1000 4k files. I didn’t think that this would give me enough flexiblilty. I might take a look at adding it though.
As far as using iCal I believe its only available to Mac users at present so would not be a viable option for a lot of people.

IPOD-TV Allows you to download TV listings to your IPOD now with added audio descriptions!
Version 1.1 now allows audio descriptions to be embedded into the mp3 files allowing you to hear a short description about each programme. Once the tracks have been uploaded to your IPOD you can actually listen to an audio voice describing each programme.
