K-MP3 is made by a known spammer. He has been banned multiple times from the Winamp forums for spamming his software on our forums. Not only has he done the honest kind of spamming (using his real user info), he has also posted under false aliases as users commenting on how great K-MP3 is(as well as other Katarncorp products). I advise everyone to seek alternatives to this software, unless they don’t mind supporting companies whose advertising tactics are so blatently dishonest. The winamp forums aren’t available today, but you can search the threads there when they come back online to see for yourselves, I don’t expect anyone to just take my word for it.

Winamp Moderator : I haven’t seen any spam by KC Software… you might be talking about someone else… (please check your info before posting…)
K-MP3 is a nice piece of software, anyway.

If I were to not use a product on advertising merits alone, there’s alot I wouldn’t use.
So if one company makes crap and the other make a solid product, but they solid product is advertized ‘bad’ I should patronize the shoddy product?
Yeah, that makes alot of sense, I’ll keep that in mind. You sure have missed the boat concerning marketing practices…

There are lots of programs out there that tag and rename mp3s and other music files. Why did this one get singled out and posted as ipod related news???? Something is not right here.

mp3 Book Helper does pretty much all the naming tricks (and a lot more) that I need. Powerful and easy to learn.
Plus it’s free, FREE, FREE!
