When you say “submit a creative photograph of yourself with an iPod at each themed location” this is somewhat vague….

Seeing how it is difficult to take a picture of yourself…

Does the entry have to have ME in the photo or can I enter a photo of someone else and it still be my entry?
(and so will those that do not have the entrant in them be disqualified?)

And if so, then does the entry have to be taken my me or can I have someone else take a picture of me?

Does the entry have to be an unmanipulated photo or may we digitally alter the photo?

Obviously, by looking at the entries, this is unclear. - The baby, the gargoyle, the painted bull, didn’t take the photograph. Do they qualify?

I hope you can clear some of this up…

Why would I want Windows software, that’s just silly.

Few if any of the currently submitted photos obviously meet the contest location requirement. Why are they posted then? Is the location requirement going to be enforced? (I have to say that the location is pretty poorly defined. The child may or not be at a public event because no event is visible. Perhaps a better job can be done with this.)

I believe the album is down.. Can we get it back up please?

In addition to the points brought up by lancephoto, must I even be in the photo, or can the shot just be a creative depiction of the ipod at an event (with the subject matter/random people in frame)?

I think the hint we are getting is that they have no interest in responding to mere site visitors.

here is how it should work and what you need:
a) camera
b) ipod
c) random human being
d) public place
e) use a) to take a picture of b) AND c) IN d)
f) submit the result of e) here

so - according to that posting - the photos without humans in them will be disqualified correct?

I’d bet some of the early posts were hastily taken.  The deadline was changed from June 3rd to the 17th (perhaps because there was less than 3 before the deadline).  With 1/3 chances, who wouldn’t upload whatever they could find :P

Hm - I actually submitted a cool pic - which isn’t in the gallery. So I guess this is one of the worst yet contests when it comes to organisation… :(

The photo of the baby is mine.  We considered that when posting the photo, that there were not really any other people in the photo, but I wasn’t about to throw another BBQ just to take another picture that had “proof” that its more than just him.  I’m a very proud father, and took the photo because I thought it was cute, not originally to send it into a photo contest.

It’s hard to randomly throw a public event, or attend one quickly, just for the sake of having somewhere to take a fresh photo, but I assure you, that WAS a BBQ lol.

I am finnishing my photo now, and going, uhhhh so I can’t enhance it in photoshop, or have the photo with me not in it! I already set up and took the photo without me and it would be near impossible (a pain in the ass) to do it again…

Ok…. so I submited my photo, and IT MATCHES ALL THE RULES, but it isn’t in the gallery yet, and with the desistion coming monday I think I definetly should be in there. At least If it takes that long to post an image email me about it why, etc. The waiting is killing me!!! Post my picture please!!! please….

Chill Ryan, each photo takes a few hours to be approved before being posted.

Aren’t there supposed to be 4 photo locations?

The third one says it’s the final…

Mine never showed up either.  Submitted it yesterday morning… now it’s almost tomorrow morning and still no luck.
