strange… For 3 or 4 days it has been saying that the server is down, and not only refusing to let me upload my photo, but also viewing others.

Yes, unfortunately in the middle of this contest we had to suddenly move servers. The photo galleries will be back up ASAP so you can browse and upload photos again. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I see by the rules, it states;
one entry per person per segment,
a person must be in the photo (as well as an iPod)
but what I am seeing is lots of rule breaking (no people in some pictures, multiple entry’s per week..the cooper people are a good example of this in the transportation section) I am seeing lots of photo manipulation, is this OK? personally I do not think that should be allowed (but I don’t make the rules).

so are any of the above going to be enforced? or is it the heck with the rules, anything goes?

Yes, that’s the same girl.

We accepted some photos to fill out the gallery a bit, but only judged those that met the rules above. Also, we extended deadlines for each themed location to allow for more photos to be submitted per a 2 week period. We then shortened the overal contest by removing a fourth themed location.

I apologize for any confusion, and I promise more great contests in the future. I hope that all of you will consider entering the iPod World Flags photo contest. It has great prizes by Shure.
