I purchased their other case and love it. There are a few problems, though:
1. don’t believe you can store earphones in the place on the cover - at least not for a 30 gig.
2. I found the magnetic snaps on the front of the cover wonderful, but if there is anything of any size in the pouch it will not cover.
3. The opening in the top where you can insert the earphone plug is really not very good - I found it did not let the earplug go in all the way, opening the cover with the plug in place was a real pain.
4. there is no access to the hold switch unless you open the cover - most inconvenient.
But these are really MINOR but irritating concerns.
The iPod is WELL protected from shock. The case is both attractive and secure. The belt clip is great and very solid. You can plug your cable into the bottom, though for recharging Apple is very clear to not do so in a case - and given the heat, I agree.
I am pleased with the case and feel it is well worth the cost. At the same time, I am looking for something that addresses the concerns I mentioned.
Its true, Jesse had the guts to post this out on the open web and I applaud his courage to work with me and standup against this corporate travesty known as buymusic.com

Alex, I’m all for criticism. There is nothing childish about constructive criticism. ti’s first comments were not that. Nor were they in a manner that one could expect to find one curtious person saying to the next when face to face. So why on a forum? ti’s latter statements however are what i consider constructive criticism, possibly helping the developer’s work and subsequently everyone who gives it a try in the future. Let me thank him for it. Because another thing about criticism; it often comes from those who agree with you in way or to a certain extent. If i had felt ti didn’t have a valid point to begin with i would not have commented. He obviously is in a better position to comment since he seems to have used more functions of Ephpod than i have.
Well I ordered my iPod through NextByte, and they told me that I’d have to wait 2 weeks to get my iPod. They never told me about a six week back order on the units! Its been two weeks now, just another four to go I guess.
I might be better off going through Apple Australia’s online store

Does anyone know if the alarm now works with playlists synced with Ephpod? Previously, if you tried selecting a playlist, it might actually play as the alarm, though the iPod would only show “Beep” as the current alarm.

my point is ephpod has gone out of its way to provide “special” features, which i enjoy, like uploading text into contact files, calendar management and news feeds, but its left out basic features that musicmatch and xplay can do, like tag-edit syncing and adding re-ripped albums, and they’re thinking about doing smartplaylists and other complicated things when the basics arent finished yet, i think this is a good software for special things but it still lacks basic functions, and its still buggy and crashes a lot. something more reliable would be xplay (if your willing to pay), which not only has a simple interface which is seamless and syncing that is mac-like as well as a good windows meida player plugin or vPod, which isnt feature-rich but it will add music to your iPod faster than ephpod and you can choose what to include when syncing. if you like this software it has to be because you havent tried xplay or are really really really really desperate for the “goodies” that it includes.
Maybe I’ve been doing something wrong with the old version but I could never get it to read file names and convert them into tags with AAC—until now! Thank you sooooooooo much, this is going to save me so much time (I only wish it came out sooner).

Is there a way you can tell me what your order numbers were so that I can call Dell back?
I was on the phone wondering why my order is “backordered” and informed them of your speedy deliveries. Dell, of course, pleaded ignorance.
If you both couple help a fellow iPod wannabee customer out, that would be great. Please e-mail your order numbers so that Dell can get it right for once. Thanks!

And, in other news, every MacIntosh released has been “The Fastest, Most Powerful, Personal Computer In The World.”
(Bottom-line, consider everything based on who’s saying it.)

Windows: Ephpod 2.77 beta released
this release is completely a beta release, really intended for listserver users only. it’s meant to overwrite your ephpod.exe in your directory.
comments/bugs/etc should be placed at bugs.ephpod.com. posting them here isn’t going to do anything toward solving them.

thank god for ephpod....
especially for PC users.... MMJB was horrible and ephpod really made things easy for me.
Apple should contact the guy who made ephpod to develope it some more and make it the standard PC software.. or better yet Itunes for PC

I like how I received 0 e-mails from them. I didn’t even get an e-mail saying they were delayed. I ordered on the 14th of July. This sucks.

Booq Announces PodPaq Nappa iPod Case
I returned my BOOQ Case because it was too loose on my 15 gig iPod. Too bad, it looked pretty neat.

iSkin eXo Now Shipping
I cancelled my order last week. I’m glad I did. When they have actual shipping product, maybe I’ll reconsider.
They too charged my card right when I ordered it, which I think is horrible business practice.
I bought the Booq PodPag and the BookEndz iPod Wrap...and the combination works perfectly. Couldn’t be happier.
